COVID 19 precautions


Restarting Scouting Checklist   

Pre event Medical Screening Checklist This checklist was updated 12/2020. 

If the answer is YES to any one of the five questions, the participant must stay home. 

If all answers are NO, proceed to the symptoms list. 

If your or anyone in your household has any one of the following new or worsening signs or symptoms of possible COVID-19, the entire household must stay home. 

If you honestly answer No and neither you or anyone in your household has symptoms, PLEASE enjoy the scouting event and practice the 3 Ws - wear a face covering, wait six feet apart, wash your hands.  

Outdoor group size is limited to 50 outdoors. All troop meetings are outdoors until further notice. 

Attendees will wear mask or face covering. At check in, all participants will be asked if they reviewed the pre event medical check list, use hand sanitizer, and have temperature checked using a no touch thermometer

Troop Meetings are Mondays 7:00-8:30 pm in the social hall at
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church1000 Andrews Road, Fayetteville NC 28311

First Monday of the month Patrol Leader's Council 6:00 - 7:00 pm
Second Sunday of the month Troop Committee Meeting 1:30 to 2:30 pm

District Roundtable is on the first Thursday of the month 7:00 - 8:30 pm at
Gardners UMC 4555 Rosehill Road, Fayetteville NC 28311

Catholic Scouting Events


2020 Catholic Camporee was cancelled due to covid 19 restrictions. 

Proposed new date Catholic Camporee

March 11-13, 2022 at Camp Bowers, White Oak NC

Open to Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venture Crews, Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls, and families interested in camping!
Option to camp for the weekend or be a day visitor.

The Catholic Committee on Scouting is happy to announce that we will begin an annual Mass of Thanksgiving for Scouting. This Mass will bring together Catholic Scouts and Scouters from around our diocese to celebrate the Eucharist as a scouting community. Mark your calendars for Scouting Mass for 2021 and 2022:

  

·    Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10:00AM at St. Andrew in Apex with Fr. Scott McCue, Diocesan Scout Chaplain, presiding.

 

·    Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 10:00AM at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral in Raleigh with Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama presiding.
